By registering on our platform and accepting customer leads, you agree to adhere to the following code of conduct. Failure to comply will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.
The Golden Rule: Treat the customer's home with the same respect you treat your own. Your behavior reflects not just on you, but on the entire community of Mistryo professionals.
person 1. Professionalism & Punctuality
Your attitude and timeliness are the first indicators of your technical skill.
- Be Punctual: Always reach the customer's location at the agreed-upon time. If you are delayed by traffic or a previous job, you must call the customer in advance to inform them.
- Clear Communication: Speak politely and respectfully to the customer. Listen to their problems carefully before opening the appliance.
- Clean Workspace: Repairing ACs, ROs, and geysers can be messy. It is your strict responsibility to clean up any water spills, dust, or debris from the customer's floor or kitchen counter after the job is done.
- Dress Code: Present yourself neatly. Wear proper footwear and maintain basic personal hygiene.
payments 2. Pricing & Transparency
We do not charge you a percentage commission, which means you have the freedom to set fair prices. Do not abuse this freedom.
- No Overcharging: Stick to fair, standardized market rates for your city. Exploiting customers during emergencies (like charging triple for AC gas in peak summer) is strictly prohibited.
- Upfront Estimates: You must inform the customer about the exact cost of labor and any spare parts before you begin the repair or installation.
- Genuine Parts: If you are charging the customer for a branded spare part, you must show them the sealed box and MRP before installation.
- Provide Invoices: If a customer requests a breakdown of the charges, you must provide a clear written or digital receipt separating labor and parts.
workspace_premium 3. Quality of Work & Warranty
Mistryo promises a 30-day post-service warranty to all customers. As a verified partner, you are responsible for fulfilling this promise.
- Do It Right the First Time: Do not cut corners. Use proper tools, electrical tapes, and safety equipment. Temporary "jugaad" fixes that break the next day are unacceptable.
- Honor the Warranty: If a customer calls you back within 30 days because the exact same issue reoccurred, you must revisit and fix the issue. You cannot charge a visiting fee for warranty claims.
- Testing: Never leave the premises without fully testing the appliance in front of the customer to prove it is working correctly.
health_and_safety 4. Safety & Verification
Customer safety is our absolute highest priority. We verify your identity, and you must respect the customer's privacy.
- Carry Your ID: Always carry your valid Aadhaar Card or Mistryo Partner ID (if provided) when visiting a customer\'s home.
- No Unverified Helpers: You cannot send a random helper or apprentice to complete a job booked under your name. If you bring a helper, they must remain under your strict supervision.
- Data Privacy: You are strictly forbidden from sharing a customer's phone number, address, or personal details with any third party.
- Appropriate Timing: Do not call or message customers late at night or at odd hours unless it is regarding an active, immediate emergency booking.
handshake 5. Platform Integrity (The Lead Fee)
Mistryo spends heavily on marketing and SEO to bring you high-quality jobs. We do not take 20-30% of your income. We only ask for a flat ₹150 platform fee.
- Honest Reporting: You must honestly update the status of your jobs (Completed, Cancelled, etc.) at the end of the day.
- Pay After Earning: You are only required to pay the ₹150 fee after you have successfully completed the job and the customer has paid you.
- Do Not Bypass: Repeatedly marking successful jobs as "Cancelled" to avoid paying the ₹150 fee is considered fraud. Our system tracks customer feedback and callbacks. Partners caught bypassing the fee will be permanently banned.
gpp_bad Zero Tolerance Policy
Mistryo reserves the right to instantly and permanently deactivate the profile of any technician, without refund of any subscription fees, for the following violations:
- Any form of physical, verbal, or sexual harassment towards a customer.
- Theft, damage to property, or severe negligence causing a safety hazard.
- Working under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
- Committing financial fraud, providing fake spare parts, or extorting money from customers.
By remaining an active partner on the Mistryo platform, you acknowledge and agree to uphold these standards at all times. Let's work together to bring dignity and trust back to the home service industry.
